Relocation Questionnaire
This questionnaire helps us learn more about you and what is needed for your process of moving to Mérida. A large part of what we do is educate everyone about customs, regulations, and rules here.
What someone else did or recommends may not be on the up and up OR may not be current. There are many ways to do things. We provide services that respect the culture of the community, first and foremost.
One of the biggest challenges we find is that expectations and reality do not match. We ask you to constantly remember that this is a different country with different regulations, customs, norms, and language. Things get lost in translation frequently.

Real Estate Questionnaire
This questionnaire helps us understand who you are, what you're looking for, and what's realistic for your budget and timeline. Everyone's situation is different, and what worked for someone else (including the "bargain in a great location" stories you've heard) is rarely repeatable.
Until recently, real estate in Yucatán was unregulated. That's changing — beginning in 2025, every practicing agent will be required to hold a certification and license by the end of 2026. In the meantime, you'll encounter "great deals" from agents who don't work to professional standards.
Roughly 80% of agents here fall short of the ethical bar we hold ourselves to, and our list of agents and companies we will not work with is longer than the list we will. You'll also see conflicting information from people whose only priority is closing a transaction. Our priority is helping you make educated decisions before, during, and after.
